Tessall Lodge is a large 2 story detached property, situated in a quiet no through road in Longbridge. The home is comfortably furnished with 2 kitchens, 2 comfortable lounges, a dining room, sensory room and a large conservatory. Upstairs there are 5 spacious bedrooms that are personalised to the young people that are living in them. There are also 2 wet rooms.
The home can currently accommodate 5 young people from the ages of 8 to 17, providing they have a learning disability diagnoses.

At Tessall Lodge we have an experienced team of childcare practitioners who are passionate about equipping our young people with the life skills to live an independent a life as possible. We understand that in order to develop their skills and help them to achieve these positive outcomes, we need to provide a nurturing and caring environment built on positive and trusting relationships. Our home is warm and welcoming and we aim to create a real family feel.

I have observed all staff to have an extremely good relationship with both girls, prompting self-help skills and independence. Communication between myself and Tessall Lodge remains excellent. Staff have high aspirations for children and believe that they can achieve their potential.
Despite children having significant difficulties with social interaction, staff find creative ways to help each child to take part in a variety of exciting leisure activities. For example, with the help of staff, children enjoy going on train journeys, going to theme parks, going out for meals, going on holiday and going to the cinema.
