Poppy House is situated in the Edgbaston area of Birmingham, the home is located in a popular residential area having good access to local amenities with stunning views of the reservoir from our back garden.
Poppy house is a home where children between the ages of 6-18 years old are placed who may have either Learning Disabilities or Emotional Behavioural Difficulties.
About Us...
The team at Poppy house will support Children through these difficult periods and ensure that they have a good quality of care and support. Young people will be supported by our fabulous team to manage and self-regulate their emotions, and prepare for independent adult life, ensuring that they have the best chance at a successful future.
Poppy house has a very experienced and diverse staff team, with a very strong manager on board that always pushes the staff to give their best, and provide children with positive experiences. All staff work alongside the care Quality standards and regulations, and these are met with high standards.
The aim of the manager at Poppy house is to give each child a family home, and to ensure that all children are cared for and looked after to the very highest standards.
The home manager will ensure that any child placed within Poppy house or leaving Poppy house has a transition period put into place, to ensure a settled move and ensure that the children are happy throughout.
